The Shake Shack at Madison Square Park is lovely, strewn with lights and surrounded by the shade of trees. When we arrived, as expected, there was a long line already formed along the park. Expect to wait at least a minimum of twenty minutes.
But the taste is worth the wait. I ordered the Shack Stack, fries, and a strawberry milk shake. This may sound like a lot but I am a firm believer that when you go to Shake Shack, you go to Shake Shack for the full experience. The Shake Stack comes with their signature Shack Burger and the Shroom Burger, which is a deep fried portobello mushroom with melted muenster and cheddar cheese inside. All this of course is topped off with lettuce, tomato, and their famous Shack sauce.
The Shack Burger and Shroom Burger alone are perfectly delicious. But, something special is created when these two come together. It’s a mixture of various textures and tastes. The fries are delicious as well, perfectly crunchy and flavorful. We suggest taking a long walk after this meal to burn off some calories!
